No Junk Mail Labels

No Junk Mail Labels

$0.00

These letterbox no junk mail vinyl labels are an aesthetic way to ward off unwanted junk mail. They are made from printed vinyl that we apply to the letterbox faceplate for a smooth, attractive and recognizable look. The vinyl is outdoor-rated and waterproof.

They are available in a selection of five colours* and are supplied in Arial font. Other fonts can be done on request depending on availability. They are default 12mm high.

If included in the same order as a letterbox, we will apply the label to where we think it looks best and is most visible. This is generally centred across the rain hood on letterboxes with rain hoods, or centred just below the slot for those without. You are welcome to provide us with instructions for an alternative location in the comments of your order.

If ordered by itself to adhere to your own surface, please be aware they can be tricky to stick on, even when following our guidelines on the "Installation" tab.

Colours seen in the colour selection drop-down thumbnails and in the product images are computer-generated representations of the powder coat colours. They are not 100% accurate to how the real-life colour will appear, they are merely a guide. Several variables such as lighting and the surrounding environment will have a big impact on how your chosen colour will appear in the flesh.

Installation

If you buy one of these labels separately to a letterbox and are intending to stick it on yourself, please follow the below instructions as a guide.

Warning, this can be very tricky and fiddly to deal with and there is a strong chance of accidentally ruining the vinyl. If you aren't confident in performing this yourself, do not order vinyl labels.

Your vinyl will be supplied with a smooth backing tape, and a rough front tape protecting it.

  1. To begin, using a hard, flat object like a spatula, firmly press and drag over the vinyl to help dispel air bubbles, and to adhere the vinyl to the tape.

  2. Make sure the surface you are sticking it to is clean.

  3. Begin to peel the two layers of tape apart, very slowly, making sure that the coloured vinyl stays stuck to the front, rough tape layer.

  4. If you are having trouble and the vinyl is sticking to the rear smooth tape, go back and rub over it, retrying very slowly and carefully. You can use tweezers to gently grab the vinyl and pull it away from the rear tape. Be very careful not to damage it. You can also fold the smooth tape layer back at a high angle and rub back and forth until the vinyl sticks to the front layer.

  5. Once it is fully off, position your vinyl at your desired placement on your letterbox, then stick it down. Like before, rub over the vinyl firmly to adhere it to the surface. You can spray the surface with Windex before placing the vinyl. This allows you to slide the vinyl around to get the position perfect before firmly adhering it.

  6. Slowly and carefully peel the rough tape layer away.

  7. Done.
